As in all our products, the candles and wax melt range also prioritized the use of a wax that promoted environmental sustainability, human health and the artisanal manufacturing method.

We opted for ecological soy wax for the best reasons, excluding any product that contains oil either in its composition or in its manufacture.

Let’s list some of the reasons why soy wax is an excellent option compared to paraffin in the manufacture of decorative candles:

Soy wax:

It is not toxic, therefore it does not influence human health.

It has a clean burn. By this we mean that the flame does not make black smoke.

Completely renewable and biodegradable.

They burn slowly and at a lower temperature, meaning they last a long time.

Keeps the fragrance longer.

Paraffin:

Paraffin wax is a petroleum product.

This derivative can release into the atmosphere the same carcinogens produced by a car.

When you light a paraffin candle, soot is produced and released, which, in addition to being toxic, could make your home dirty.
